CAD/CAM in Schools
Part of a DfES funded initiative to provide training for teachers using CAD/CAM software.
Over 10,000 users (trainers, teachers, students) who can read, signup for courses, submit work online, edit content, setup case-studies, signup their students etc using the extensive control panel, and staff at DATA can manage the entire site.
The control panel had to be easy and convenient to use - as a general rule of thumb I believe that if someone needs special training to use a web application then it's failed the usability test.
My role: Convert designs in webpages, build the database and backend system to drive the entire site,
